TransGo 45RFE-HD2 Shift kit
Prevents/Reduces: 2-3 neutral, Limp and Slip codes.
Has Tough Snap Ring, heavy duty Accumulator Cover and special accumulator Seals.
Saves pump and valve body.

Below: Kit come with a parts tray and parts in there own bags to help ID things.
Below: Kit comes with a heavy duty spring plate. You can see &
feel the difference between the two. When doing this, I recommend getting
a large roasting pan to place the valve body in. The ATF just seems
to drip out of the valve body forever!
Below: Its just a matter of swapping out a few springs and piston seals. No special
tools are needed!

Its just 6 bolts and one plug to remove the valve body.
Below: Ramps and jack stands is plenty to get the Dakota high enough to
work on the transmission.
Shift kits help to firm up the sifts from 1st to 2nd gear.
Its a easy mod to do and for under $100,
I would recommend it next time you do a ATF and filter change
