with the mounting tabs I made and installed. These tabs are held
in place by the same screws that hold the tail lights. Shown

masked and spray coated. Before spray coating the areas, they
were sanded to help the coating stick.
Above: Trimmed the
stock tail lights with black spray liner from a spray can.
Below: After sanding
and coating the tail light guards with the same black coating
as the taillights. Mounted them with extra brackets to hold them
in place.
I
didn't like the way the brackets turnedout. So I mounted the
Tail Light Guards right to the tail lights with 4 nut and bolts
on each one.
Above: Redid the mounting
with nut and bolts counter sunk holding tail light guards
directly
to to the tail lights.

Sealed
the nuts to water proof the tail lights
Above: Filled in the
counter sunk bolt holes with JB weld, when hardened, smoothed
and
recoated.
