Nothing like servicing the transmission and pouring a few gallons of ATF all over the
drive and yourself! Been there, done it! Not any more! First time servicing the
45-RFE transmission the drain valve was installed! For less then $10.00 its got to be
one of the best thing done to the Dakota!

After draining the fluid, about 2 cups were left in the pan.

The flat standard looking one and the spin on type. The spin on is just like a oil filter
and cleans the ATF on its way to the ATF cooler
