I'm working on getting the new donor engine. The story and info about
each photo will be added and updated also as time allows me too.

Old motor being stripped while waiting to be removed.
Intake, one valve cover(other will be removed soon), water pump, alternator removed.
A/C compressor and power steering pump unbolted. Upper and lower radiator hoses removed.

Due
to delays with shipping of the new donor motor, this is start
to drag out. In the mean time I've been shopping around for a
used engine hoist and engine stand. Had several close finds,
but no luck. Ended up buying them new. Pull the old 4.7 out.
To confirm rumors about what happened, the oil pan was removed.

With the pan pulled the damage can be seen on the windage tray

The connecting rod is shattered in the middle. Looking just below that is
the other half attached to the piston.
